Fairhaven Homes Display Centre - Oakleigh East

This Oakleigh East display home project for Fairhaven Homes was designed to showcase a modern, low-maintenance outdoor living space with strong architectural lines and practical entertaining features. The landscape needed to complement the contemporary home design while creating a warm, inviting and highly functional outdoor area for future homeowners to imagine themselves enjoying.

The backyard features a clean, structured layout with large-format steppers, soft groundcover joints and a central entertaining zone. A feature fire pit area creates a relaxed focal point, framed by built-in bench seating and layered planting that softens the surrounding boundaries.

The covered alfresco includes a custom outdoor kitchen with a built-in pizza oven, creating a practical entertaining space connected directly to the home. Overhead screening provides filtered light and shadow, adding architectural interest while keeping the area open and bright.

The side access and garden pathways were designed with the same clean style, using oversized concrete steppers, turf strips and neatly layered planting to create a strong visual flow through the property. The finished landscape is modern, functional and easy to maintain, making it a perfect fit for a display home environment.
